Privacy Policy

• We collect your name, email, your quiz activity and, if you buy Premium, your payment receipt.
• We use it to run your account, show your progress, verify payments and support you.
• We do not sell your data, and we do not use advertising or third-party tracking.
• You can ask us to correct or delete your data at any time.

Account details. Your name, email address and password (stored only as a secure hash; we cannot read it). Optionally, your age, address, target exam and a short bio, if you add them to your profile.

Practice activity. The quizzes you take, your answers, scores and time taken.

Payment details. When you buy Premium: the plan and amount, the payment method you chose, the receipt image you upload, the transaction ID, and the payer name and phone number if you give them. We never receive or store your wallet PIN, card number or bank password.

Messages. Emails you send to support.

Technical data. Basic server logs such as IP address, browser type and the time of a request, used to keep the Service secure and working.

• to create and secure your account and keep you signed in;
• to show your scores, history and weak topics;
• to check your payment receipt and activate, extend or refund Premium;
• to reply to support requests and send essential account emails such as password resets;
• to find and fix errors, prevent fraud and abuse, and improve our questions and courses;
• to meet our legal and tax obligations in Nepal.

If we show rankings, your display name and scores may be visible to other students. Your email address, payment details and receipts are never shown to other students.

We share personal data only:

• with our own staff who need it — for example, the team that reviews payment receipts;
• with service providers who host our servers, database and files, or send our emails, under agreements that require them to protect it and use it only for us;
• when required by the law of Nepal or a valid order from a court or authority;
• to protect our users or the Service from fraud or serious harm.

Our hosting providers may store data on servers outside Nepal.

To keep you signed in, we save sign-in tokens in your browser's local storage. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics. Signing out removes the tokens from that device; "Sign out of all devices" on your profile ends every session.

• Account and practice data: for as long as your account is open.
• Payment records and receipts: for as long as Nepali tax and accounting law requires, even after your account is deleted.
• Server logs: for a short period, normally no more than 90 days.

When you delete your account we delete or anonymise the rest of your data within 30 days.

Connections to eprepnepal.com are encrypted, passwords are hashed, and payment receipts are stored privately and shown only to you and our payment reviewers. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a strong password that you don't use elsewhere. If we ever learn of a breach affecting your data, we will tell you.

In line with the Individual Privacy Act, 2075 (2018), you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
• correct anything that is wrong (most profile details you can edit yourself);
• delete your account and personal data, subject to the payment records we must keep;
• stop using your data for a particular purpose.

The Service is meant for students preparing for competitive exams. If you are under 16, please use it with a parent or guardian's permission. If you believe a child has given us data without that permission, contact us and we will delete it.

We will update the date at the top of this page whenever this policy changes, and tell you by email or in the app before any important change. See also our Terms of Service.
